It’s only natural that Denim Braxton gravitated towards the fashion industry. Growing up with a fashionable mother, Toni Braxton, gave him a front row seat to the fashion and entertainment industries from an early age. While he watched from the sidelines early on, he now finds himself front and center. Denim burst onto the scene when he starred alongside his mother in the DIESEL Spring-Summer 2022 campaign, and his profile has only grown since.
The 21-year old model signed with LA Models in 2023, and has since worked with brands including Dior, Giorgio Armani, Private Policy, and more. He’s also starting his second year as a student at FIDM, studying Product Development to gain a deeper knowledge of design.
Given his first name, it was only appropriate that we tap the talent to show off some of the top denim trends for fall. Get to know more about the rising talent as he models looks from Willy Chavarria, Coach, Private Policy, and more.

Do you have any early fashion memories? Was this a field you were interested in from a young age?
Seeing my mom attend fashion shows and having her own photo shoots definitely helped pique my interest but I’m happy to have entered the fashion space as my own person but with great support from my mom.

When did you know you wanted to pursue a career in fashion?
Around my last year in high school, I had my first photoshoot alongside my mom and brother. That shoot was my first introduction into fashion and made me want to pursue it in the future. Ever since then, my love for fashion has only grown.

You recently starred in a DIESEL campaign alongside your mom. How was it working with her, and has she given you any fashion advice?
The DIESEL campaign is something I will always be thankful for because it kickstarted my development as a model. I loved doing it along with my mom because she always gives me pointers and advice as well as making me laugh and have a good time on set. The biggest advice she’s given me in terms of fashion was to create my own aesthetic and to learn from others but learn to be your own influence as well.
What are some of your career goals that you hope to achieve in fashion in the future?
Some of my career goals consist of building my name up in the world of fashion, walking more shows and being featured in more campaigns, and using the knowledge I’ve learned from FIDM to create my own fashion brand.
